Goat heart is an inexpensive and flavorful goat organ that does not taste like organ meat. It is a hard working muscle, not squishy like spleen or liver. The heart has quite a bit of gristle and fat.

Unlike other meatloaf meat, mutton hearts have a slightly dense and firm texture with a rich, dark flesh flavor. Grilled or roasted hearts with a mix of fresh vegetables are much preferred. Here, we offer fresh lamb and goat hearts, cleaned and chopped for easy cooking.
